Hello again Resident
*** THIS WEEK IN SIX ***
Another busy week for the team! Over the past few days, your local police have:
Charged a male with multiple shop theft offences, as well as several further breaches of his court bail. He was remanded to appear in court. Hosted our monthly engagement event alongside Wolverhampton Council Public Protection at Wednesfield Library! Continued our regular patrols of Crossways Shopping Centre. Issued penalty notices for traffic offences in Wednesfield, including driving through red lights. Visited Trinity CE Primary School to meet with the pupils and talk about policing, crime and answer all their questions! Dealt with multiple obstructive vehicles inconsiderately parked in the Ashmore Park area. Supported colleagues just up the road in Bushbury in seizing a bus parked in a residential street and being used for antisocial behaviour, as well as dealing with subjects involved. Hosted our monthly “Coffee With Cops” from The Hub at Ashmore Park. Your Wednesfield South DNO has been patrolling the High Street, engaging with businesses, shoppers and locals. If you see her, feel free to say hello – she loves a chat! Attended a residents meeting at Tremont House, discussing local concerns with those present. Attended the Wednesfield North Love Your Community meeting, alongside partner agencies such as Wolverhampton Homes and the local council. Along with partners from Wolverhampton Council, held a walkabout at Bentley Bridge to discussed the live PSPO application with businesses and visitors, seeking their feedback and offering the live consultation link. Finally, we shared the publishing of the new West Midlands Police ASB survey, which is live throughout the whole of February. To give your views, follow this link: https://t.co/JaL6zH45Bn
